Employment

According to the United Nations, Sierra Leone’s youth contributes to one third of the country’s total population. This is significant because the study indicates that 70% of youths are currently underemployed or have  no job, while 50% are illiterate and unskilled (UN, 2022). Furthermore, it’s taking almost one year or more for university students to find a job after graduation. Through our classroom renovation projects, DOM has provided work for tradesmen. We look forward to establishing an employment hub for individuals proficient in building trades and other skilled labor.
